Below you will find information on some of the activities the Parent’s Association of Carrig N.S. is involved in. Being a member of the PA is a great way to meet other parents and to learn more about your child’s school.
About Us
The Parent’s Association of Carrig N.S. works with the Principal, Staff and Board of Management and is vital in ensuring good communication and effective partnership between these groups and parents.
The committee is involved in many different activities which enhance the school experience for our pupils and their parents. The PA organises activities for the children both inside and outside of school hours, e.g. swimming lessons, and hosts at important school events such as Communion and Confirmation.
Talks for parents and events such as the uniform swap shop are regularly arranged. The P.A. is also involved in fundraising events for school improvements, such as the funding for the astro-turf, and in formulating and ratifying school policies.
The Parent’s Association of Carrig National School is affiliated with the National Parent’s Council (Primary) and is covered by their insurance.
