For the past six weeks, 5th & 6th Class pupils have been making the short trip down the road to Dromineer where they have been sailing with Claire and her team of instructors in Lough Derg Yacht Club.  

Over the course of the first five weeks, the pupils learned about both sailing and water safety and, with some beautiful weather to add to the experience, everyone really enjoyed it!

For our final trip on Friday, the children spent the day taking part in lots of fun games and activities both on land and in the water – the perfect end to Active Schools Week!
